FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • • Fête du Void will be held October 2nd - 4th, 2025. Check back for updated venue and camping information.

  • • Yup! The official 2025 map will be released a few weeks before the festival. Download a copy of the festival map to your phone or print a copy of it out before you come.

  • • Yes, but all children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent at ALL times.

    • Those under 21 may not consume alcohol at the festival (local sheriff’s deputies will be stationed at the entrance). Please note that any attendee over the age of 12 will need a ticket to enter.

  • • As the Boy Scouts say, always be prepared! Here are some pointers on how to enhance your camping experience. Just because we’re camping doesn’t mean we are roughing it.

  • • Camping gear
    • Tents & Shelters
    • Sleeping Bags & Beds
    • Tarp
    • Cooler and/or water jugs
    • Lantern / flashlight / headlamp (AND extra batteries!)
    • Stainless steel water bottle (or two!) (we will have fresh drinking water on site)

    • Camping chairs, hammocks, tables, and anything else that might help create a comfy home-away-from-home

    • Rain gear (failure to bring it increases the chance of rain)
    • Your favorite hoodie (yes, it CAN get cold in Central LA)
    • Extra socks/shoes/sneakers (take care of your feet and they’ll take care of you!)
    • Rubber boots (in case of rain)
    • Bug spray (we recommend without DEET – be green!)
    • Sunscreen (lots of it)
    • Hat
    • Bandana (in Louisiana, you’re probably going to sweat)
    • Sunglasses
    • Trash bags (we strive to be a leave no trace event, and appreciate your help)
    • Toilet paper (we will have, but never hurts to have an extra roll)
    • Flag or balloon to identify your campsite
    • Extra set of keys to keep with you at all times (avoid keeping keys in your car!)
    • Cash to buy food, art, and merch

  • • Small luggage lock for your tent (Fête du Void is not responsible for any lost or stolen items)
    • Environmentally friendly soaps and shampoos
    • Smokers—bring an ashtray! Every butt you throw on the ground, someone else has to pick up!

    • Extra wigs (and eyelashes)
    • Blanket (for sitting)
    • Earplugs (for sleeping or saving your precious hearing)
    • Portable speakers or radio
    • Portable cellphone charger
    • A towel (if you want to shower or sunbathe)

  • Each person, their belongings, and their vehicle are subject to search upon entry. Please view the list below to see what you can and cannot bring in specific to different areas of the festival.

    NO Professional cameras (with detachable lenses longer than 2” long)
    NO Pets (even really, really tiny ones)
    NO Box trucks / trailers
    NO Laser pens or similar focused light device
    NO Vending (sharing, yes. Selling, no)

  • MAIN VENUE

    YES Totem (Be reasonable please. Must be made of light material: swim noodles, foam type
    material, cardboard tubes, fabric, light plastic, balloons, aluminum and/or blow up items.)
    NO tripods
    NO Totems made of hard woods and/or other materials that may cause injury if dropped. This
    includes flag poles and heavy sticks.
    NO Anything that’s prohibited elsewhere on festival grounds
